Herping all over the derp again
Awake at 6 am, class at 2:30. Why am I awake? Car alarm. The past few nights I have been waking up either due to outside influence or just weird dreams. Can’t I get a break? One night of uninterrupted sleep for like 12-14 hours?
Some day… But for now, I wake up early as hell and hope to fall asleep again. For everything else, there’s MasterCard.
I’ve been meaning to take out my binoculars and see if I can glimpse the supernova in the sky. It’s at the end of the Big Dipper’s handle and is approximately 23 million years old. So we’re looking into the past. But you probably figured that out… Smartasses.
Anyway, I thought that was cool. Also, I’m thinking about UFOs. From a bio major’s standpoint, honestly, how could we be the only ones in the Galaxy/Universe? With billions of galaxies each containing billions of stars, there has to be SEVERAL planets that are supporting intelligent life. I’m betting that Earth is the dumb kid on the block, with only basic propulsion in space and limited space travel…. Meh, I need to sleep.
